IPNET Kenya Abstract Submission Guidelines for Authors
Welcome to the IPNET Kenya Abstract Submission Portal. Please follow these guidelines to ensure a smooth submission process.
1. Registration and Login
- New Authors: Register an account using your valid email address.
- Returning Authors: Log in with your existing credentials to submit or manage your abstracts.
2. Abstract Submission Process
- Step 1: Access the Submission Form
- Click on the “Submit Abstract” button after logging in.
- Step 2: Fill in Author Information
- Enter full names, affiliations, and email addresses for all authors.
- Clearly indicate the corresponding author.
- Step 3: Select the Submission Category
- Choose the relevant track, session, or topic as per the conference themes.
- Step 4: Enter the Abstract Details
- Title: Use clear, concise language (max 20 words).
- Abstract Body: Paste your abstract (250–300 words) in the provided text box.
- Keywords: Provide 3–5 relevant keywords.
- Step 5: Upload Supporting Files (if required)
- Upload documents in PDF or Word format if necessary (max file size: 5MB).
3. Formatting Requirements
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, single-spaced.
- Structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion (where applicable).
- Avoid tables, figures, or references within the abstract.
4. Submission Confirmation
- After submission, you will receive an email confirmation.
- You can view or edit your submission until the deadline.
5. Peer Review Process
- Abstracts will undergo blind peer review.
- Notifications regarding acceptance, revisions, or rejection will be sent via email.
6. Important Notes
- Abstracts with incomplete information or not following guidelines may be rejected without review.
- Ensure all co-authors have approved the submission.
